FBLA is Leadership in Action!
Join Our Advocacy Efforts to Save Funding!

Oregon Capitol BuildingSince 1949 Oregon FBLA and our sister Career Technical Student Organizations (FFA, DECA, SkillsUSA, HOSA, AOFC, FCCLA) have received a grant from the legislature that has effectively opened the door of opportunity to hundreds of thousands of Oregon students to join student organizations like FBLA and become Future Business Leaders of America.  With the budget cuts, that door is about to be shut.  At this time, the Oregon legislature is not just trimming the funding for FBLA and CTSOs, they are eliminating funding it all together.  And, unless they hear from our all those who care about FBLA, career technical education, and our student organizations, we’ll lose our funding for the first time in a half century.  This will be a terrible loss to Oregon and future generations of students!

Visit our advocacy page to get the facts and then contact your Oregon senator and representative or their staff.  The message is very simple to the Oregon Legislature:  “Please restore funding for the Student Leadership Development Center in the education budget.”  The Student Leadership Development Center is home to FBLA and the student organizations.  Help us keep leaders in action by taking action today!
