Happy CTE Month from Oregon FBLA!

Washington D.C. – Middle schools, high school, colleges and universities and FBLA chapters across the nation are celebrating Career and Technical Education Month this February. CTE programs help prepare students for successful careers while FBLA is the co-curricular component of CTE.  FBLA provides project-based learning that compliments the classroom experience and provides real world training and skill development to help students be more successful in future careers in business.

For ideas on how you can promote CTE month in your school, visit the Association of Career and Technical Education web site by clicking here.  Here you can view the first and second place public service announcement videos, download a CTE trivia survey, and much more.

View the 2009 CTE Month Video PSA Content winner, “Beyond a Textbook,” produced by Yanina Gonzalez, Adrian Scarborough, Joseph Walsh and Philip Wilmut, Birdville Media Tech, Birdville ISD, Haltom City, Texas.
