My name is Aurel Crisan and I am proud to be your Mt. Hood Region Vice President. I am from the Reynolds High School Chapter located in ever growing Troutdale Oregon. Before I was a state officer I was a lively competitive FBLA public speaker with the dream to do something great. Now as an officer, I am living that dream.
FBLA inspired me to truly come out of my comfort zone. As a young freshman I didn’t really know what I was good at or what I wanted to do with my life. My advisor convinced me to try public speaking, so I did. It turns out this is one of the things I am now passionate about and even if I never pursue public speaking I will always have this skill and ability to use to better my future. FBLA also introduced me into the business world and helped me develop critical thinking skills I will use the rest of my life. Oregon FBLA has done so much for me that I am proud to serve you, the members and advisors.
If my friends were to describe me in a few words I am sure they would say I am, “Busy, busy, and busy.” Whether it is school related, sports related, church related, or FBLA related, I always find something to keep myself busy with. Ten months out of the year I play tennis recreationally only to prepare myself for the two months out of the year I play varsity singles tennis for my high school. During the winter my favorite hobby is to go up to Mt. Hood and snowboard. Outside of sports I play my piano and trumpet from time to time. Finally, one of my favorite hobbies is simply spending time with my friends and family.
Next year I would like to attend Pepperdine University, University of Southern California, or University of Oregon. At one of these Universities I plan to study entrepreneurship and law and someday go on to get an MBA. |
