Membership Information
Membership Eligibility
To be eligible for membership in Oregon FBLA, students must meet the following requirements as defined by the National and Oregon FBLA Boards:
- Active members shall be secondary students (7-12) who initially become members while enrolled in a business or business related class.
- Active members shall pay annual dues as established by Oregon and National FBLA-PBL. They may participate in state and national events, in accordance with guidelines of the State and National Awards Program, serve as voting delegates to the State or National Leadership Conference, hold state or national office, and otherwise represent their local or state chapters as approved by their respective local or state advisers.
- To be considered an active member of FBLA, the student must join the state and national chapters.
State and National Dues
Oregon FBLA dues are $9.00 and National dues are also $6.00 each. Total dues $15.00. Remit all funds to the National Office.
How to Process Your Chapter Membership Dues
PLEASE NOTE: Membership processing is now done on-line at www.fbla-pbl.org
- Log onto the FBLA-PBL home page at www.fbla-pbl.org
- Using the links on the left-hand side of the page click Membership Registration.
- From the log in screen enter your Chapter Number. (If you do not know your number or have any other issues with the system contact us and we'll be happy to help.
- Enter the password “Service” and click Enter
- To verify that you are logged on, you should see your school name just beneath the FBLA-PBL logo.
- Read through the directions
- At the bottom of the page click the Continue to Step 1 button.
- Follow the directions for each step to add your members for the year.
- Before exiting click the preview page link on the left-hand side of the page to preview your membership.
- This page can also be printed to keep for your school records. To print from your Web Browser click FILE and then Print
Please note that reporting online membership alone does not activate your chapter. Payment must be received at the national center before your chapter is considered officially active for the year.
